Tied originally as a killer shrimp offering when news of the infestation on Grafham first broke. 'Spectacularly unsuccessful' is the phrase! Every cloud has a sliver lining though - latterly, it's done stirling work as a wet mayfly pattern, and generaly worked a treat as a bob-fly the length and breadth of the UK, as you might imagine, in a good wave.

Rib: Oval gold.
Body: Hare's ear & squirrel 50/50 mix
Body Hackle: Grizzle hen dyed ginger.
Shoulder Hackle I: Mandarin flank.
Shoulder Hackle II: As body hackle.
Thread: 'Brown Olive' UTC 70 denier.
