UTC's 'Wine' holographic tinsel provides the perfect answer to those nasty, purpley shades that get passed off as 'claret', opening up a whole new world of 'clarety' tinsel bodied flies. The 'Wine' cruncher was one of the first flies I tied with UTC's offering, and has comfortably held its place in my nymph box.​ Simple and effective, and a nice, subtle little change from the ubiquitous red holo Diawl Bachs and Crunchers.
