Pretty much a straight copy of one of my first ever shop-bought patterns, which purported to be a 'Golden Olive Bumble'. Now, I know that 'golden olive' is a hotly debated subject, but this thing doesn't even come close. It was however a real mouthwatering shade, which I've come pretty close to reproducing.

A great fly once the weather warms up, being suggestive of all manner of summer terrestrials, not to mention sedges, but comes into its own when cow-dung fly are on the water.
