Black Death

BG3x.jpg

Sorry about the morbid blog titles of late.. I'm sure they'll pass when the clocks go back..

Another new addition to the fly range.. a dry fly this time - the Black Gnat, or to be more prcise, a black Griffiths Gnat. One of the simplest yet deadliest dries ever devised, river anglers have long exploited the powers of the 'Griff', but has been somewhat overlooked by stillwater anglers.. big mistake! I carry a range of sizes and colours in both my river and stillwater boxes.Lethal from South Africa to Iceland, river or lake.
