One of the first in the series of 'Crippler Classics' - successful too. More Cripplers quickly followed. The red and yellow of the original Clan Chief's tail were switched to the shoulder hackles to tone down the boldness of the original a little and also to spread the red/yellow combo throughout the patern. Somewhat quieter than the original, but still bold.

Hook: Kamasan B175 or B170 size 10 or 12.
Butt: Flat silver.
Rib: Oval silver.
Body: Seal's fur - 'Ant black'.
BodyHackle: Grizzle hen dyed red.
Shoulder Hackle I: Red GP body feather.
Shoulder Hackle II: Yellow GP body feather.
Shoulder Hackle III: Black hen.
Thread: Black UTC 70 denier.
