One of the most useful, versatile and indispensable materials I know of; one of my very favourites too. The spiky, multi-toned guard hairs and lovely soft underfur can be mixed in your own proportions to suit wets, dries and nymphs. There's nothing else quite like squirrel. A billion and one patterns for river and stillwater anglers just waiting on the skin.
