My take on the fabled 'Ant Black'. One of my favourite and most used colours. 'Blood Black' looks black in the hand, and viewed by reflected light, but hold it up to the light, and view it with transmitted light - as a fish would - and you'll see it's actually very dark red/brown, like ant, beetle and gnat body parts.
